    Interesting Graham Potter Interview

I agree to an extent. What may not have been known and what really utterly killed us, were the number of player contracts that didn’t include relegation clauses because the people running us were absolute idiots. That wouldn’t have been public knowledge and may have been disclosed after the event.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Any number of people on this thread have told you why my point was right. You’ve agreed with all of them and yet continue to insist I’m wrong… It’s genuinely funny.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

I’d love to play against Smurph in the three door challenge…

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Only if you continue to play dumb.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

A point Smurph is determined to keep pretending he doesn’t understand for some reason.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

I didn’t ever lambast the fella. I criticised the decision to appoint a manager with next to no experience as a huge gamble given the position we were in. It was. And remains so. Whatever the outcome. And it’s way too early to tell whether it will ultimately be a good appointment or not. When...

    What Ewe Watching

I don’t think it’s woke for a woman to say in response to someone suggesting that she had something with Hugo that it was bloody unlikely since she was gay. I mean having people on the show who are gay or from a different ethnicity isn’t ‘woke’. It is simply a reflection of society surely?

Esse is a heck of a signing for Coventry.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Dropping him in the league cup final to play Ki at centre back was the start of it all.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Absolute nonsense. I’ve said we’re doing well (or at least much much better) and that I’ve enjoyed our play since Matos has arrived on any number of occasions. Every single time we get a new manager or new players some, and frequently that includes you, go completely over the top with how...

Adam Idah - Out For 3 Months

Let’s hope we’ve been better keeping our insurance up to date than we have been at keeping our companies house filings up to date…

    Lawrence Vigouroux

I think he’s been our player of the season so far. Best we’ve had IMO since fabianski.

Jenkins was put out over Laudrup’s agent bloke (can’t remember his name). Simple as that. I agree that he’d have had European success if he had stayed. Pivotal moment in our history.

    Venezuela

One thing’s for sure. No one in Europe will ever trust them again.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Yes, that’s a huge shame. Plus long term hamstring issues don’t always result in the same player returning so fingers crossed. Unlike many on here, I think he has potential to be a very good player for us. The one I’m most disappointed in is Inoussa. Early games I thought he showed something...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

The appointment of Monk was ludicrous. And probably was the decision that led to us being where we are today rather than an established premier league team that has qualified for Europe several times. I agree that we are looking loads better. I’ve said so on a number of occasions. And I’ve also...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

We also need a creative midfielder and, to be honest, we need a new centre forward if this is the style Matos is after. Vipotnik, for all he’s had a better season and has scored some spectacular goals, isn’t the right type of player longer term for a high energy pressing game. Idah may be, but...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

The gambling on red example was just that, an example of the difference between a gamble made and an outcome. It wasn’t meant to be particularly analogous. In practice of course, a gamble on red is just short of a 50:50. Appointing a football manager is probably more risky than that in the long...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Not even slightly. There is absolutely nothing about football that in any way winds me up any longer. It used to when I was a lot younger, but these days? Nope. It’s a pleasant diversion from stuff that is important.
