• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 0 QPR 1 | Att: 14,254 | 22/10 | The EFL Championship | Swansea.com

Why do we start every game like we quite happy to settle for 0-0 draw. Defence and strikers will hold their own in this division, but at the moment midfield and wingers is a massive problem. Galbraith is the only player in that group that I have confidence in. For me at the moment: Stamenic...

I got slated with this opinion earlier in the season.

Our general pattern of play is league of Wales standard. We are levels behind QPR's opening goal. Another game gone by and I'm not sure what our centre midfielders are doing?

From Modric to Mid Table: Is Sheehan Out of His Depth?

I hope your right, but I see very little evidence so far in the team's ability to turn things around. I keep hoping the next game will be the one, but I just see us further regressing slowly after every game. We are tactically inept going forward, it's up there with the worst I have seen from us...

From Modric to Mid Table: Is Sheehan Out of His Depth?

It's accumulation of the last two managers and Sheehan is keeping the trend going. There are at the ages now where meeting up with friends on a Saturday afternoon is more engaging than watching our football games, unfortunately.

From Modric to Mid Table: Is Sheehan Out of His Depth?

How long to you keep flogging a dead horse(Sheehan) though, we have picked the wrong head coach. Do we waste another couple of seasons or should we be like Watford and just change it straight away. My kids have turned down going to the next couple of games with me because we are that boring to...

Nice to see free flowing attacking football on a Saturday afternoon, not. Wake me up when is reign is over!.

This is getting embarrassing now, do we actually know how to play football in attack.

Time wasting on our own corner just sums as up at the moment. Whatever the result is today, it's another disappointing performance.

Did you do my banker bet this weekend. Yes, I am annoying drumming about Sheehan, but the football is not good enough to watch for me. I am still bored shitless watching us like our other two previous managers. I will do you all a favour and won't post again, have a good rest of the season...

We look like a badly coached team to me, I lost count on the long aimless balls today, players making Renato Sanches passes into touch. It's hard to tell whether Sheehan's tactics are hindering the new players or they are just not good enough, time will tell. But it looks like another nothing...

I don't want to be competitive going into each game, I want to better than the opposition for the majority of the times.

Unfortunately the managers style of play contributes to a flat atmosphere, don't blame the crowd. If we were playing exciting brand of attacking football, I can guarantee the atmosphere would be hell of lot better.

Good subs tonight, which were badly needed because we were struggling at the point to get anything going again after half time. Hats off to Sheehan for the win, but it still feels like a continuation of Russell/Williams work rather than a new era. The performance described by my kids "This is...

Cracking finish from Franco, but Sheehan's midfield set up is not functioning very well. We have no creativity from the centre of the pitch, it just simple back passes back. We are heavily relying on attacking from the flanks.
