Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I’m not against leagues splitting as there’s usually sensible reasons behind the numbers in the top flight around Europe, but I do think it makes more sense to play everyone twice, then split and play everyone in your section twice (home & away).
Avoids the anomaly in Scotland where some teams...
Can’t see too many taking pay cuts overnight, so would suggest it’ll result in smaller squads and more minutes for academy players in the short term once the rules kick in.

I’d be interested to see the breakdown in votes. Also is it this seasons teams or next seasons teams that were voting?
To me it’s strange that if you happen to be in the PL in a particular season you get a vote on particular issue, but if you are out of the league for just that one season you...
Decent recovery so far, which is probably the biggest positive of the season.
Despite being right up against it at times, with both bat and ball, they’ve shown a great attitude and no little ability to fight back.
Also worth noting that Leeds (well Bielsa anyway) admitted it straight away and did an hour long press conference from what he’d learnt from his staff member watching Derby training.
Southampton on the other hand are being deliberately obstructive and trying to drag out the process for as long...
I think some people are underestimating how much time is spent these days on working both in and out of possession in training based on who you’re playing that week.
Add to that the advantage of being able to know the opposition team and all their set pieces then there’s a reason that most new...
I think they’re looking at bringing in the rule that an outfield player has to leave the pitch for a minute if the keeper gets treatment from next season.
It’s almost impossible to get consistency across a season on the subjective decisions.
What’s always annoyed me in the ground is when there’s a lack of consistency within a game. No excuse for that from officials.
Agree 100% with the transparency angle.
If they want to use technology then the conversation should be broadcast live. The half (not sure it’s even that) measure of getting the ref to explain afterwards and then showing the replay is far too manufactured.
If the officials want technology then...
Not a fan of VAR in the stadium but as most have said the correct decision made.
Don’t really understand why the attacking team risk fouling in the box these days mind. Shouldn’t give them any possible reason to disallow it.
