Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Last part is very true and I think despite working together in the past they’d be reluctant to go into an official coalition with Labour due to the optics as much as anything else.
I don’t quite understand the need to vote tactically with the new system. Surely you just vote for the one of the 6 parties that you prefer?
Everything points toward a coalition or minority government with support from other parties. That will either be made up of some combination of...
Don’t think Atletico are the defensive team they were a decade ago but agree that with them and Arsenal it’s very unlikely to be another 9 goal thriller!
It’d be interesting to see how much he goes for if true. We’ll clearly make a decent profit but I’d be surprised if it’s much more than an £8m fee up front.
Can’t see an established PL team coming in for him so you’re pretty much looking at a relegated club or possibly one of the teams...
Balance isn’t allowed when discussing Grimes. He either has to be Satan or the second coming! 🤣
The reality as you’ve said is that he’s a very good Championship player but his effectiveness will depend on the players around him.
Will be interesting to see how he gets on next year. Personally...
Definitely a must not collapse and lose tomorrow. We need to keep Leicestershire as close as possible to us as I’d imagine one of us will return to div 2.
Decent shout that. Played 35+ league games in 4 of his 5 seasons at Stoke.
You’d hope that the scouting/recruitment dept aren’t just looking at former players though 😅
Agree with this.
Not only does it reflect badly that we aren’t bringing players through that the manager thinks are ready, but also sends a message to those youngsters lower down that there’s unlikely to be a pathway to the 1st team.
Injury this year and lack of matches over the last few years would mean expecting him to play 40+ games might be optimistic.
My heart says yes though and definitely covers both positions if the wages are doable.
21 of those are in the current ‘first team squad’ so two key questions for me.
1. Of the others that out on loan who does Matos want in his squad of ~25 players next season. I haven’t seen enough of any of them, but based on reports/clips I’d suggest Lissah & Congreve
2. Who of those 21 does...
