    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Unfortunately that’s got nothing to with it - unless they’re going to do what the Coates family did at Stoke - which I assume is highly unlikely. We must be reasonably close to the £42m? allowed losses in 3 seasons if we lost close to half of that in the most recent accounts.

    Take any win away. Good to see Parker & Walta getting some decent minutes. Be good to finish off the season with a couple of better performances, but maybe that’s a bit greedy at this stage in the season. Leicester in big trouble with Oxford & Portsmouth both winning.

    Not sure about the initial details of the signing but Jenkins ended up playing much of that season at left back with Lyttle playing every league game. Big money sale back in the day at £375k as well 🤣

    In terms of performances for us, then Rangel is the best right back we’ve had in my supporting days (since the late 80s) by quite a long way. Honourable mention to Des Lyttle for that one season mind!
