I courageously but correctly predicted that Whittaker wouldn't score against us at Middlesbrough and neither will McBurnie. Sheehan knows him inside out and will have a strategy to deal with him.

We've got 6 games in the next 3 weeks so there will be plenty of opportunities for rotation, especially v Nottingham Forest.

We now have 6 games in 22 days (5 Championship and 1 League Cup) and 4 of them are at home. That'll put a strain on the squad but just as much on the fans and their wallets, and the attendance figures will go through the floor.

And we're still flying below most experts' radar.

I seem to vaguely remember a discussion a few months ago about how many points we would have after 5 matches, and a lot were pessimistic because of our "tough start". 10 points and in the top 6 would be fantastic.

What surprises me a little is that, at the time of posting, the number of people who have voted is below a hundred. That can't be the same reasons as the low attendances.
