    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

To add to this before anyone says. Yes, there’s no guarantee of success but your chances are increased greatly.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

I cant be bothered with this conversation. My posts on this thread from April are literally coming to pass. Those that were all for Sheehan who are now MOANING are getting all defensive and coming up with he “deserved” it to cover for what looks like …. Yes a costly error. If you get the...

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

It’s good business to “invest” in quality. We are paying millions for players what is preventing us having a manager with calibre? I don’t see investing as dumb I as see as shrewd. This is a different viewpoint which I’ve been arguing about ever since I can remember following the swans. Pay...

    The Ashes 2025/26

Yep. They might need a bit of luck like 2005 with Mcgrath injured as well to help them get a good start. I think Cummins is a doubt for instance. The 2010/11 series was a bit of an anomaly really the Aussies bowling was poor. I don’t expect it this time. They have a fine bowling attack. As...

New EU passport & biometric entry requirements

Sad, angry. I know it drives you mad because it’s the elephant in the room. We are stuck in this strange limbo situation where everyone knows the truth (including many Brexit supporters) but we can’t speak the truth because that upsets some. You think people who advocated for it for...

That’s the reality. Going back to Brexit. In the end that’s what it gave them. The freedom to be racist again and that’s what they’ve been missing in their sad lives. That’s not to say I believe people should not be allowed to be racist in public. I’m not one for shutting down this stuff.

    This Years Poppy War

One thing I don’t like though is the use of the white poppy on its own. I do think that’s provocative. The poppy should be what it is for rememberance for fallen heroes. I struggle to wear one these days sadly because I struggle with the way it’s become totemic for agitators. It doesn’t mean I...

    The Ashes 2025/26

Ashes should be inteteresting. Harry Brook could be pivotal. If he can just add a little patience from time time he could be a great. I hope it’s a close series. So many have been one sided in Australia. The quicks will need to stay fit which is highly unlikely.

New EU passport & biometric entry requirements

The most self destructive, growth stalling, business crushing, tax raising, freedom losing decision we’ve ever taken. And we can’t talk about it.

Welsh Rugby Bosses to Scrap One Region by 2027

Surely the obvious route is an school first division with the whites etc and two “regions” west and east.

That’s assuming Lib Dem and Plaid voters are on the left. Which of course is patently incorrect. I have a number of friends who are Plaid supporters and they are very much not on the left but favour an independent Wales. The Lib Dems have a number of right wing supporters and former MPs. It’s...

I know. My view on this is that the one nation tories, blairite Labour and sdp Lib Dems come together and form a new centre party. It’s crying out for it.

Liberals are so disappointing in Wales. They should be hoovering up the soft Tory vote. Jane Dodds negotiation skills my word haha. Greyhound racing ban and a budget agreement. Cringeworthy

Absolutely. They have an opportunity to be a credible centre party but they’ve been basically Labour with the Welsh language for years now. Rhun is a potentially a good leader for Wales but he has to move away from this soft left shit we’ve had for two decades.

Starmer has been great on World stage. I can’t think of one redeeming quality regarding Welsh Labour. Unmanaged decline.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

What is this “deserved a chance” opinion. I just don’t get it. He earned the right to have a good job elsewhere. This type of mentality although nice, is not going to serve us well. I’d have invested in pedigree personally. Gone all out on it and thanked Sheehan for a wonderful job in interim.
