    O Dea

Let's be honest , i don't think Boro are a huge club at all, they are certainly no Newcastle or Sunderland. He choose to go there probably for better money and the fact they look a better proposition to get promoted, but huge club they certainly are not.

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

Not really on about the financial side of it as such. Rumours are that Hellberg was their first choice manager after sacking Williams, and if that was the case then they should have tried to secure his services then. We also waited until 3 other clubs, all potentially with much more clout than...

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

Seems to me we have quite rich owners and a couple of celebrities trying to raise the profile of the Swans, but the people in charge of the footballing side of the club are as clueless as they have ever been. Hope they make the right call on this, it's a massive decision.

Looks a bit like Pochettino in that photo. Can we use him as a " ringer " instead of Matos.

Let's be honest , to get to this country, and this particular part of Wales is an absolute nightmare and a disgrace. The Welsh government has made a complete balls up of Cardiff Airport that doesn't inspire anyone to come here for a job. Add in the fact that large parts of the M4 from Newport...

Would be gutted personally, think he would have been a good fit for the club. Should have gone for him in the summer instead of appointing Sheehan, who was a complete waste of 15 games this season. Still think we are an attractive option for some decent manager though the candidates mentioned...

Didn't he keep Huddersfield up in the Premier league with the lowest goals scored for a surviving team? ironically at our expense. Not for me, would rather take a punt on Hellberg.

Was a Shitshow pre season and from the first game against Middlesbrough, and hasn't got better since.

My admiration for our fans who travel away.. but why do you do it these days ?

Spent the best part of 45 years travelling to away games , been to about 75 different grounds , many 3 or 4 times. Guess it's a combination of things, Swansea is miles from everywhere (it's nearly always a 10 hour bus ride there and back) don't think footballers give much of a toss these days...

    Is the Team/Squad balanced?

And that's the problem with the manager isn't it? Reluctant to try and find a proper 10, could be Widell, could be Eom, but for goodness sake try something, it has to be better than what we are seeing. As others have said, a complete clear out is needed and a fresh approach. Most decent teams...

    We want Sheehan out

If you left it to the west stand Bob Bradley would still be in charge.

    Long range shooting…

We wouldn't have scored the first goal that Preston got against us, probably someone would have taken a couple of touches ,then it would have been passed sideways and backwards before eventually losing possession.

Not with us he didn't, couldn't even get us a play off spot with a really decent squad. His faffing about picking that useless keeper Nordfelt probably cost us that.

    Player Recruitment or Manager

He was that good we had to loan him back in January for fear of missing out on him to bigger clubs.
