Said that after the first game of the season, and some gave me pelters on here for it. Thought with the way pre season went and then the atrocious first day performance at Boro , that things weren't looking good.

Neither do i, it's money the club could put to something else. He's a decent chap, but our season so far has been horrendous. Slow boring sideways football with no attacking intent whatsoever. He's pretty clueless on how to stem the tide as well. Too good to go down? Better sides than us have...

Too good to go down? Don't ya believe it with this manager at the helm.

Missing todays game because I'm away. 1 shot, nothing on target and only 2 touches in their penalty area , in 45 mins. By gosh, that's bloody criminal. If any of his supporters can justify that crap , please fire away.

Alan Sheehan has a Plan for Swansea and fans are sticking with him despite recent mixed form

Will certainly do that, though I'm not the only one being critical of the manager.

Alan Sheehan has a Plan for Swansea and fans are sticking with him despite recent mixed form

If we win Wednesday and play well i will say " Well done lads , excellent win and performance , great 3 points". But if we lose and have 1 shot on target in another snooze fest playing the same players who have had countless chances already i will be critical of it.

Alan Sheehan has a Plan for Swansea and fans are sticking with him despite recent mixed form

We are 24th for a few things, particularly in the attacking stats.

Alan Sheehan has a Plan for Swansea and fans are sticking with him despite recent mixed form

Yes, and the Sheehan is doing a good job is tediously boring as well, when clearly, sitting in 16th place, he isn't.

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

He could well have one in Widell, either through the middle (10) or out wide, he just chooses not to use him.

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

It's just very frustrating, clubs thrive on momentum, think where Forest were when Cooper took over, and think of Swans when Trundle was here, both galvanised and with tons of momentum. Think we had that close season, new owners, actually interested in the football side, best transfer window...

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

Oh , i don't like to argue either, as I've said before, i don't dislike the manager. I certainly dislike his style of football, and his not to lose approach rather than him having a positive let's win the game attitude. His reluctance to play Widell , when Eom has had a season and a quarter...

Ten Games In, Too Soon to Judge: Why Sheehan’s Swansea Still Deserves Our Backing

Except it's not 10 games it? It's 13 , and will be 15 by the end of the week.

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

Make your mind up , earlier on you posted that Sheehan doesn't know his best side, now you are saying too many are nailed on starters. Make no bones about it, after last Wednesday both Inoussa and Widell should have been starting last Saturday, the fact they weren't was down to the managers...

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

It certainly wasn't pretty, neither was Hollins reign when we won the title , but it does make it more bearable if you are at the top end of the table. Cooper play off final was a disgrace in all honesty. Perhaps he is trying to emulate George Graham (currently without the results) who made a...

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

We are not making improvements, we are basically where we were 12 months ago.

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

That's wide of the mark I'm sorry. I'm nearly 70 and have definitely seen some of the worst football this club has ever played. Was at Rochdale in 1975 when we lost 1-0 and had to apply for re-election, and I'm sure there's others around my age not in the Sheehan fan club. When people are...

    Our League form

Can't argue with any of that post. Not sure if the owners , who after trying to raise the profile of the club and spending a reasonable amount of money this summer, are going to be happy sitting 16th in the table, playing an uninspiring and boring brand of football. To me Sheehan is not...

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

Yes, but nothing is changing with the managers approach to games is it? It will be his downfall in the end in my opinion. After the positive first 45 against Citeh in the week that's the formation and starting line up he should have gone with for the start today. Why Eom was drafted in is...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Charlton 1 Swansea 1 | Att: 20,405 (2,227Jacks) | 01/11/25 | The EFL Championship | The Valley

Eom has had endless chances over a season and a quarter and still fails to deliver anything positive in most games. Yet he still continually gets more chances. Give Widell a chance, not 1 game, 10 or 15 like the rest have had.
