    Is the Team/Squad balanced?

Whilst I can agree with most of the replies this is about the closest to my view at the moment. Now I'm trying to be totally open minded (as you can be with some sort of bias) is it down to tactics or quality or a mixture of both Can player X play with player Y. Does a sub then unbalance the...

    Player Recruitment or Manager

As a squad I don't think we are stronger. You can look at the new players and think they all could offer something but as a group I don't think the balance was correct. Is it down to being data driven, but we'd need the collective to be greater than the individual parts. So far I've seen nothing...

Swansea City 1 Ipswich Town 4: Clock Ticking for Alan Sheehan After Humbling Home Defeat?

The words jump out. Intent. Ambition.Bravery. They should be a given and totally unacceptable in a performance. Modern tactics seem.all about keeping shape, but this in our play seems to be forget the ball and drop. The will to win seems a distant past, where winning the ball back.becomes...

Just to add we had Joe Allen and Kyle Naughton as experienced pro's in the dressing room and when available for game minutes brought an influence to games.

It's the usual outcome or he needs a very experienced assistant. I've already posted we lack experience on and off the pitch

He deserved the chance, but there's been no signs of improvement. It is fair to question whether the run last season was partly due to the experience of O'Brien Or Fotheringham as assistant. Everything is on the table I think he's trying his best but we can't keep giving points away so many times

We've been poor all season but the performances against Charlton & Preston were slightly better. This is not a surprise though it's been coming all season, the comments of we've been in every game is meaningless in a poor standard

I've posted before about our so called good summer transfers. The majority were brought in for potential and sell on profit. We need experience and when you look through the squad it's criminally lacking. We have so many young squad options who may show desire but not being able to work as a team

    The Data Blueprint Quorum

Spent the money but a lot was on potential sell on players who as yet haven't proved their worth. You can see that if the light bulb moment came that we should see better football but it does need them all to click as one

    So We're Stuck With Sheehan?

Mixing it up is needed but most long balls are possession lost. This coaching lark is easy on a keyboard :D

    So We're Stuck With Sheehan?

I only briefly listened to the post match interview and "a solution to be more clinical must be found" Maybe the first thing is a more shoot on sight attitude. A couple of total training sessions of nothing but shooting from all angles close to the 18yd line could be a start ;)

    So We're Stuck With Sheehan?

While the coach will always come under scrutiny, and rightly so, the players must also accept the same scrutiny. How many times have we seen obvious passes take longer than necessary to do ( I'll argue that it is a different view from the stands or TV screens than on the pitch). Many of our...
