I’ve got some money in a gold exploration play on AIM. They released an RNS last week that had info re one project mixed with info about another project.
No human would have made that mistake.
Had to release another RNS to correct it.
For fuck sake

Personally I despise AI written material. It's another example of the modern "way" in that the younger generation have lost the ability to think for themselves. Heaven help the young folk leaving education in the next few years expecting to find jobs because many of the traditional roles may cease to exist. It's a worrying and lazy trend in my opinion. Sorry Phil, it might be 2025 but I don't have to like it.

I don’t get what is worrying and lazy about writing something and then asking AI to formulate it into a consistent structure

Doesn’t take away anything from the traditional role

Out of interest do you use self serve checkouts in the supermarket or do much of your shopping with say Amazon ?

As from my other AI article, I'm tending
to this view ( surprisingly to me as an OAP+)

The key for me is having a key set of issues you think may be relevant, the core for AI, it then tidies it up as far as I can see.

Tbh I reckon I could have written " my" whole AI article not far removed from the AI version ..but I have better things to do. I guess that's the new AI world.

AI did it instantly, nicely structured etc - but with the core of what I felt should go in it.

I'm learning that AI is an aid - but learn to delete or edit crap or wrong nuances..and check for facts ! Plus add in any extras you think are relevant

I wish I'd had AI in the Office in my earlier days tbh ..but I'm retired now so look out Forum 😂 ( nah only kidding, I like shorter human interaction and views in the main. With a bit of humour thrown in also from time to time !)

Awww come on Phil, it doesn't compare! You visit the self serve checkout to pay, there's no thought involved. AI takes everything away from the traditional role. Creative writing is the product of intelligent reasoned thought not some computer generated output. I respect you Phil but please don't get swept away with this lazy nonsense. People need to think through ideas. If not the human race is doomed.
