Brighton

They've improved on what we did in getting to and staying in the top flight (no trophy for them yet though). Unlike us, their local owner hasn't revealed himself to care more about money than the club like ours did and they've gone from strength to strength.

Brentford doing similar also. Don't particularly like either club, but great to see them thriving in amongst the moneybags clubs.

Crikey. Howe’s coat might be on a shoogly peg if this carries on. They probably expect top 4 now after last season.

The more you think about ours, the bigger the shithouses they become.

I agree, as someone said, it's a funny old game.

Brighton are real fun to watch. They play lovely football and seem to beat the press with ease. Unfortunately, they're prone to the occasional nightmare e.g. Everton at the back end of last season and West Ham this.

3 of their first 4 games being Man City, Liverpool and Brighton probably gives him some leeway. As does smashing Villa in the other game. If they're bottom half in a month or two, he may be in trouble.

They'll be as shyt as us again one day I tells you!!

Please don't take this bitterness away from me, it's all I have left... 😫

Brighton, Brentford both have a premiership shelf life, they used to talk about us as an established premiership team at one time, both nailed on for eventual relegation, financial damage limitation will be the key for both.

We were relegated in our 7th season. Brighton are in their 7th season, I'm pretty confident in saying they won't be getting relegated anytime soon. Given their brilliance in the transfer market, they are an established premiership team and will be for some time to come.

Brentford have a long way to go to match our run, but again they're a well run club who seem to make very few mistakes in the transfer market. I'd put money on them getting past 7 seasons.

The Swan pub in Falmer was my local back in the eighties. Home fans pub these days apparently. Old Goldstone ground in Hove. Brighton v Swans back in the day with King Curt ripping them to shreds. Bring back Division 1. Money grabbing barstewards can feck off to the desert!

Swansea City v Leeds United
