Kim Hellberg - New Manager?

Hammarby have offered boss Kim Hellberg a new deal in a last-ditch attempt to convince him to stay at the club.

The 37-year-old is in London after being granted permission to speak to Swansea City about their head coach vacancy.

Hellberg is Swansea’s number one target to replace Alan Sheehan, who was sacked earlier this week. Talks are ongoing with the Swansea hierarchy, Hellberg and his representative.

However, Hammarby still want to keep hold of Hellberg, who has one year left on his contract. It’s believed they have offered their boss an extension with improved terms.

The Swedish club’s sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg said: “It’s no secret that he is in London. He has kept us updated on everything, so everything is under control there.

“It was nice and good as usual and there are no secrets between us in any case. Kim is doing extremely well in Hammarby, but we also know that he has dreams and ambitions."
Done deal isn’t it

The new contract has been on the table for a while apparently.

You missed out Melker Widell and Bobby Wales in your list
Now imagine this. Widell and Inoussa both become the players we all think they can be under Hellberg. And Wales gets opportunity to show what he has and we have 3 strikers all fighting for the position. On side note, I'm curious what happens with Key. Surely he will be replaced in January. 3rd or 4th time is the charm isn't it with key and managers? Maybe he can turn it around? 😏😏

Nice day to bring him to the city.
Hope we showed him Cwmbwrla roundabout
Have you never seen Point Break? I imagine Hellberg will visit our training ground while it's raining. And gets a wink and a thumbs up from Key. A montage 'opener' showing the potential he has and it's sold him on the dream. Oh and when rain clears he goes sky diving with the chef and signs his contract in mid air. Lovely stuff 😜😜
