Paying for Swans TV

I am currently in Turkey (really!) and I am trying to purchase the international Swans TV season pass while I'm on a legit foreign IP address. My payment keeps failing. I am using a UK registered credit card which I've always used successfully to purchase Swans TV streams using foreign IP addresses.

Anyone else had issues? Have the powers that be wised up to the use of UK cards?

Thank you for that. Perhaps Turkey is on my card providers "naughty list". I'll pop round to Uncle Nord's when I get back to Blighty and see if he can help

I don’t even think I’ve ever had my VPN on when signing up or paying. Used a UK card from a UK IP. Only needed to travel to Luxembourg to actually access the coverage.

Interesting. Unless I access the Swans TV page where I can buy the pass using a foreign IP address I don't get the option to buy. Only when I am using a foreign address does the option appear

For some reason, I’ve been paying for it monthly this past season, rather than the whole season pass, I’ve no idea why as it’s more expensive. But yes, my monthly payment has come out as normal…

Frustratingly - don't get me started - there was no option for a season ticket last year - they fleeced the fans by making you pay monthly and paying nearly double.
I was excited to see this years option for a full season
Later I am trying to purchase from here in Canada - I will let you know, as I would prefer to pay with my UK debit card. Have not been able to do this previously.

As I recall there wasn't a full season option last season. Btw I didn't realise you could pay the season pass by direct debit?

All last season I "went" either to Belgium or Holland to buy the stream match by match and never had a problem paying with my UK credit card

If you're using debit card it might be a card issuer problem. Santander stopped payments of mine when I was travelling and asked me to call, when I did they authorised the payments.

I'm using a Sainsbury's Bank MasterCard credit card. I'm going to try it on my pc when I get home rather than muck about on my phone

Maybe it’s a move to get ‘overseas’ viewers paying more than overseas viewers, without blocking cards?
