I thought overall Fisher had a great game. A couple of passes put his defenders under pressure but he had no fault with either of the goals conceded and made a cracking save in the second half from Hudson Odoi
He should have done better on the first goal. I think he has a tendancy to overrun when scrambling across his goal, which leads to him being poorly set when a shot comes in, he did it for the second goal as well and then slipped (although I don't think he wa realistacally going to or expected to save that one).

He made a decent save to keep us in the game

That was all he had to do a they were Forest's only attemps on target (14 shots off target), so I would hardly call it a great game.

You forget the excellent reaction save he made to stop Casey scoring in his own net, he then had to get up and run five yards to get to the near post for that first time volley, even then he was grossly unfortunate as it hit the post and then hit him to go in

What pleases me the most about tonight is that there are clear signs that our entire squad is able to contribute. Let's be honest, the last few years we've had absolutely nothing to shuffle the pack with, these early rounds of the league cup have tended to be a washout, the drop off has been huge once we started to make changes. Not anymore.

It's almost as though we have ZERO discernible style of play, no playbook.

The Matty G blueprint has been discarded and it shows, in spades

No progressive / regressive up and down the pitch triangles hunting in packs; no midfield control, no dominance, no nothing. We look like a poor Cardiff, ffs.

I had forgot that, yes it was a decent stop, but still not giving his effort great status, as Roy Keane would say that's his job (and it wasn't a particulary busy night at the office for him).
