Time and time again, managers fall for Fulton. He seems like a hard worker in training and a mentor to young players, but he cannot be getting regular minutes in competitive games. Better to ship him elsewhere, even if it means eating some of the cost, than have him back passing for another year.

I'd say it's probably the case that no one else would pay the wages that we decided we'd pay him when he signed his last contract, so he's going nowhere until his contract ends.

Managers know this and seeing as he's senior and probably quite popular around the squad, decide to pick him over youngsters.

I dont know about the Cardiff striker, maybe he's just better than Viptonik.

It's so fair to have your opinion of him, mine is that there is a player in him that used correctly could do well.

As for Obafemi he was awful, had a woeful shot on him and an even worse attitude.

Yes, he was that bad he scored far more goals than Vipotnik. Yes, his attitude was terrible can't argue with that.

Are they suggesting the signing is a striker? I didn't read it as a striker just stated a signing.

Erabi would be a superb signing so anything better in profile in any area of the pitch would be impressive.

I don't know much about Erabi but the videos I have seen, I like the look of him. He looks very good with his headers, has a good stance and always on the balls of his feet.

A striker better than one who scores one in three and has Swedish top flight and Champions League (qualifier) experience? Thats a pretty high benchmark for a mid table championship team with a modest budget.

Remember when we were linked a few weeks ago. Would be happy to see this happen but from what I’ve seen and heard he still isn’t that 6 we need. That BBC article did say we’re after 2 more midfielders so hopefully a deep lying player is in the plans.
