Summer Transfer Window

If you search for a list of Canadian strikers he's one of the few that comes up, and at 25 and £4m transfer fee estimate, the only one that might be affordable and with potential to improve
Too expensive I think, so unlikely

Im getting the dreaded feeling that we will end up with a panic barrel scrapping striker again just like last season only to off-load him in 2026 for peanuts

We signed Vipotnik on the 1st of August last year, so whatever else he is/was, he wasn't a panic buy.

Tom Coleman has rubbished both links to the Canadian striker and the St Pauli winger, seems to me as soon as names get in the media they are false rumours.

Still waiting for news on Indys "worth the wait" Strikers we are apparently in for.... Vital also saying atm there's nothing to suggest the Yalcouye deal is off.

Read that Kone is 3M to QPR that could rise up and around 5M with add ons! We are not getting close to that deal in reality.

Further reading indicates that he has 2 goals in his last 14 games for Wycombe.

Even if we go top end for a striker, he will likely be a player with potential in and around 23 with a modest scoring record.......similar to Piroe.
There is nothing wrong with this approach, it's the market we are in and if we can discover another Piroe or even one half as good then we have done well.

Oh I totally agree im not bothered about it being a top end striker, id be more than Happy if we find another Piroe banging in the goals without breaking the bank, personally I thought we would have gone back in for that Milleskog after the interest we showed, he seemed to fit that future potential mold,
