I was skeptical of appointing Sheehan but I’ve been impressed by the statement of intent and the board have finally started investing.

So you were so dismissive of him you felt he would lead us to the play offs?

Yet on another thread this week you derided fans for saying it's unlikely the next manager will do much better as the players possibly aren't as good as some think they are? We were getting the pitchforks out already apparently, but it's fine when you write a manager off as soon as he's appointed and after a brilliant run as temporary manager?

When Sheehan was first put forward for the job on a full time basis I was against it. Overtime he earn't the right and respect to get the job full time.

Unfortunately for him and us it didn't work out. It takes a special kind of someone to pop up and say "well I told you so".

Hindsight is a wonderful thing along with selective a memory.
