Interesting article. The sooner the 50+1 rule is brought into football the better it will be for all fans.

Valencia: Former La Liga winners and Champions League finalists in turmoil https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64545162

One of our finest games in recent history.
I remember the Valencia crowd gave de Guzman a standing ovation for his free kick.

To put that result into context:

The season before, Valencia had finished 5th in La Liga and qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, losing to PSG.

They finished 8th the season we beat them, but also went all the way to the Europa League semi-finals, only losing on away goals to eventual winners Sevilla.

What a night that was.

A great day in our history, Laudrup at his pinnacle, … even though they only had 10 men

Depressing reading to see what’s still going on there, all too familiar

Yeah I remember that red card... Bony pinched the ball from their defender near the halfway line and he pulled Bony back.

The funny thing being that he could have caught up to Bony with a 20 yard headstart

Currently 0-0 at Getafe, poor quality game, could be a championship match, relegation 6 pointer

Swansea City v Leeds United
