22 July 2020.   The night that a seemingly impossible situation delivered as the Swans turned around a three point and five goal deficit over Nottingham Forest to reach the Championship play offs and extend the first season under Steve Cooper by two more games. It was one of those footballing nights...

As the article says, anything is possible.

But

We most likely need an extra point on 6th place as our goal difference shows a need of about a 10 goal turnaround.

Also Boro, Bournemouth and then Forest a third game in a week.

Never say never 😀

If we make it, who the fck would wanna play us? It have meant 9/10 consecutive wins.
Gotta dream eh...probably all end by Monday night tho.

One extreme to the other with us eh

Bit of a leap to think we can go from hopelessly inconsistent to suddenly knocking out a 10 game winning streak, but it's a junk division so who knows.

We've had a good week. Cart and horse springs to mind.

Still, nice to be optimistic for a bit!

We win our next 2 games confidence is going to be through the roof

Nothing wrong with a bit of optimism

Keeps the world turning

However no matter what our form or the quality of the division how many times in our history have we won 9 from 10 which makes it unlikely

But so was a five goal turnaround two years back

And that was under Cooperball

Excuse me while I continue to scoff until scoffing is no longer an option. Ditto Wales getting to a World Cup. Ridiculous.

Just to add, I scoffed myself into orbit two years ago also.

I should add I have no belief it will happen therefore I have no money riding on it

We'll probably win a few games & then get turned over by Forest 🙄

It'll keep all the Coopsters in scotties, drooling over their wallpaper.

If we have a chance then so does half of the Division.

Is anyone here one of those traditionalists who thought that the team finishing third should be promoted automatically on merit, and that the Play-Offs were an unfair gimmick? Some people used to get hot under the collar at the idea of a team finishing 5th or 6th being promoted.

I saw a stat the other day that Cooper had lost fewer league games all this season than Hughton did in his handful of games in charge. Hes got something. Lets see how Forest do in the playoffs before annointing him.(Im purposely ignoring the possibility they go up auto. )

To fck em over in the playoffs would parallel the feeling of legoland last week.

If he gets a team to the playoffs three straight season and loses every time then Simon Jordan will be proved right.
