• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

went to the game was great atmosphere and very good match shame we are playing at home same date as 1st round

My ex teammate, and then manager is in charge of them. Superb bloke with hopefully a big future in the game.

Over the moon for them. He speaks highly of Jack Evans.

Here's hoping they get someone like Sheffield Wednesday or Ipswich at home.

If its a decent enough tie they'll probably move it to Sunday or even Monday

They hate us up there.

I remember one game we were due to play up there in the late 80’s or early 90’s, that got called off due to bad weather. But our coach was well on the way there when the news came through. We stopped off in some god awful little town to go on the piss instead. Needless to say it got interesting there and we ended up being escorted out of dodge, they even put a couple of officers on our coach until we got to neath.

Merthyr people on the whole are great mind, just not the teams supporters.
