According to the normally reliable L’Équipe the player will sign a three year deal with the Swans and a reported transfer fee of 5 million Euros.

Tabanou will join up at the Liberty with his former team mate Bafetimbi Gomis who joined last summer and it was also reported earlier in the week that he had already decided on Swansea

“Has chosen Swansea, he has told me he is not interested in any other offers from any other clubs” his agent Philipe Lamboley told the BBC.

The transfer window opens on 9th June and it is expected to be confirmed at that point that the move has been completed.

The defender is expected to provide the competition for Neil Taylor that was so obviously missing at times last season and gives Garry Monk another option on the left hand side of his team
