Pintado missed a last minute penalty in the victory over Hull at the Liberty meaning the Swans were forced into an extra thirty minutes of football before finishing off their Premiership opponents.<\/p>\n
Ironically it was a second penalty of the game that gave the Swans victory but this time it was taken by Jordi Gomez who converted to give the team a deserved win and a place in the third round draw which takes place tomorrow.<\/p>\n
And, despite the missed penalty, Pintado was happy with his performance as he notched his second goal of a Swans career and the amount of chances that he had.<\/p>\n
Speaking in the Evening Post (via his "interpreter" Angel Rangel), Pintado said "I got some minutes on the pitch and I tried to do my best to help the team win<\/p>\n
"The Hull goalkeeper played well.<\/p>\n
"He saved a few from me but the most important thing was that I got the chances.<\/p>\n
"You will score when you get chances and that's good for the team.<\/p>\n
"I'm pleased with two goals so far," Pintado adds.<\/p>\n
"But I have got some pain in my back and that's stopping me getting better.<\/p>\n
"I want to get some continuity. I want to play more minutes to help us win games.<\/p>\n
"The mentality of football is different from Spain," he says, "and I'm enjoying it more here.<\/p>\n
"The supporters have a different attitude and they were very important for us against Hull.<\/p>\n
"They were shouting all the time, even when we were losing, and thanks to them we were able to score two goals and win."<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
