Neil Taylor says he will be fine for the Swans next league clash at Chelsea after being stretchered off against West Brom on Saturday<\/p>\n
The Swans defender was clattered in the latter stages of the game and left the field on a stretcher in a neck brace in what looked to be a very serious injury.<\/p>\n
But initial fears were unfounded as Taylor himself explained “I’m okay, I feel a bit groggy, but I’m not too bad<\/p>\n
“I didn’t really remember anything at first, but then it all came back to me. I know we won and that’s the main thing.<\/p>\n
“I’d have to see the challenge back, but I haven’t really got any complaints. I think the ball was just crossed in, I’ve gone to head it and maybe I’ve just got there first.<\/p>\n
“I can’t complain really, he’s gone to attack the ball looking to score. That’s fair enough.”<\/p>\n
Taylor suffered a cut head in training on Thursday and he added “It was just a minor graze on Thursday and then a proper one today. Hopefully I’m getting them all out of the way in one week<\/p>\n
“We’ve had a run of bad luck, but I’ll be okay, I’ll be fine for Chelsea.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
