Swansea City have been linked with several Manchester City players in this transfer window and you can now add the name of Morgan Rogers to that list after it was reported in yesterday’s papers that we were one of several sides keen to take him on loan should City decide to recall him from his loan spell at Bournemouth.<\/p>\n
Rogers has been unable to command regular game time at Bournemouth as they bid to return to the Premier League and has made just one league start although thirteen appearances from the bench has seen him play a decent chunk of Bournemouth’s Championship games at some stage.<\/p>\n
Rogers signed on a season long loan back in the summer with the Cherries having an option to buy at the end of the season for an initial \u00a312m with \u00a33m add ons and a separate obligation to buy \u00a39m rising to \u00a312m with add ons should they win promotion to the Premier League.<\/p>\n
That in itself tells you much about the potential of Rogers and how much City value him at the moment which will be a key reason why they want him to have more regular first team football.<\/p>\n
The Swans, Blackpool, Huddersfield and Aberdeen are all reported as having an interest in Rogers should City decide to recall him something that Scott Parker admitted yesterday was a possibility.<\/p>\n
