Swansea City will head to Histon this weekend looking to avoid a second successive shock knockout in the competition at this stage.

It was almost 12 months back when Havant and Waterlooville sprung a surprise to knock the Swans out and whilst there is no anticipation of a similair reverse, Butler does believe that their opponents have been ignorant in their response to the draw.

Speaking to the Western Mail, Butler said โ€œHiston probably think of Swansea as a tiny, little stadium somewhere in Wales

โ€œTheyโ€™re probably a bit ignorant that way.

โ€œIf youโ€™re a team like that, you want to hear Man Utd or Arsenalโ€™s name coming out โ€“ Iโ€™d like to think that was why they were groaning when they heard our name. Obviously, we want to finish the tie in one go.

โ€œBut, if they did get a replay and come back here, I think theyโ€™d get a surprise.

โ€œAnd theyโ€™d find theyโ€™d be really happy to play in a stadium like the Liberty.

โ€œI think Iโ€™d rather have drawn another side from the Championship, in some ways,โ€ said the Irishman.

โ€œTeams from outside the Football League can be a bit unorthodox โ€“ you donโ€™t always know what youโ€™re coming up against, as we saw last year.

โ€œI personally find it harder against teams like that.

โ€œWhen you go away, the pitch isnโ€™t good and everyoneโ€™s against you, everyone hates you.

โ€œItโ€™s a tough environment to go and play.

โ€œThese are small grounds, but you forget how much noise they generate.

โ€œAnything can go against you โ€“ the weather, the referee, the fans โ€“ but youโ€™ve just got to get on with it.

โ€œHiston are a big, strong team and we know they pose a threat at set-pieces,โ€ he said.

โ€œWeโ€™ll have to concentrate fully and be at the top of our game to stop them scoring.

โ€œItโ€™s tough, but we have to be professional โ€“ and we will be.โ€

Butlerโ€™s manager also makes no secret of his feelings regarding the Swansโ€™ fourth consecutive FA Cup tie against non-league opposition.

โ€œIt shows the lack of luck we have in the FA Cup,โ€ said Martinez.

โ€œOur role on Saturday is the worst one to play in the FA Cup โ€“ everyone expects the league side to get through.

โ€œAway from home against a non-league side, they are the favourites in many ways. Itโ€™s going to be difficult.

โ€œBut itโ€™s something we had to go through three times last season โ€“ and we know exactly what is needed to come through.

โ€œWe have to make sure we are ready on the day and that we adapt to the conditions.

โ€œThatโ€™s the attitude โ€“and, if we get it right, we could get the rewards in the next round.โ€
