The Bluebirds had originally planned to stay in Swansea overnightย next Friday but following discussions with the South Wales Police, they have decided toย make other arrangements.
They willย now stay in Cardiffย and will travel down on the Saturday morning before the match, which kicks off at 12:45.ย
โWeโre not able to stay in Swansea the night before as police have advised us not to,” Jones told Wales Online.
โItโs an away game and I wanted to treat it as so and stay reasonably close to the ground as we would do on any other away game.
โBut the police have advised us that it is best to stay out of the Swansea area.
โWhen supporters find out where you are staying, things like setting fire alarms off and trying to keep players awake during the night start to happen.
โSo itโs best all round to stay in Cardiff over night and then travel to the game on the morning of the match.”
