The Swansea City midfielder has been linked with a move to join his former manager Roberto Martinez with Wigan weekend scorer Ben Watson linked with making the switch in the opposite direction.
But whilst there is nothing more than general speculation on the subject, Leon says he remains focused on helping the Swans maintain and build on their existing fourth place league position.
Speaking to the Western Mail, Britton said โObviously the chairman has talked about it now and there has been contact between the two clubs
โI know they have been talking and, with my contract situation, everyone knows Iโm free to talk with other clubs.
โBut Iโm committed here and 100 per cent behind the team. Iโm giving my best for Swansea, we are fourth in the league and thatโs where my focus is at right now.
โItโs a difficult one for me. I am still here at Swansea, I am under contract and I am enjoying myย football.
โIโd like to think my performances show Iโm still fully committed even though these things with Wigan are going on.
โI donโt really know how far down the line it is or where the talks are at, so itโs not a case of me definitely leaving anyway.
โIโve still got five months on my contract and, before Wiganโs interest came around, my thoughts were focused on being here until the end of the season.
โThat is still the case and I am still a Swansea player.
โIf something happens and the club agrees a fee, then you have to go from there. But, if not, I am fully committed to the club and trying to get Swansea in the Premiership.
โObviously Roberto knows me well,โ he said. โSo he knows what Iโm capable of.
โItโs always nice to know that he likes me as a player and that he has made an enquiry to the club about my availability.
โAnd it the Premiership as well, something that has always been the dream for me.”
