The Swansea City manager was speaking frankly about the situation that Palace find themselves in ahead of their fixture with his team on Tuesday.

Palace have recently gone into administration and been deducted the customary ten points for it but Sousa believes that that is not enough as he told Wales on Sunday.

โ€œIn England the (financial) rules are there for everyone to see and it is important to follow these rules,โ€ said Sousa.

โ€œThey give respect to everyone inย footballย who is honest and trying to do his best. Losing points is unfair for the players and the manager, but itโ€™s also unfair for the other clubs who are working very hard to deal with contracts and other things.

โ€œIn other countries โ€“ and it is my opinion also โ€“ I would like to see not to take 10 points off, but to automatically relegate because itโ€™s unfair on the other clubs.”
