After one season in the Premier League, Burnley have adapted well to life back in the Championship and arrive at the Liberty with 7 points from their 3 games to date and sat nicely in third position.

“It is going to be a tough game,” Brendan told the Western Mail. “They maintained a lot of the squad from last year and added one or two so it really is a challenge we can look forward to. It is a tough test, but it can be a good gauge for us as a side.

“We perhaps should have had more points as a side, but I would be more worried if the performance has not been there.

“We want to make the Liberty a fortress and we were fantastic against Preston where we set a standard.

“We know it won’t be like that every week, but it is a standard we want to try and maintain.

“And these players are so committed and honest they will push themselves to do so in every game which gives me great confidence.”
