The Swansea City man is a leading contender for this season’s player of the year award after a series of top notch performances have helped lift the Swans into 2nd place in the Championship table.

If there was one frustration though he has not scored since August when he netted against Preston at the Liberty but he is happy so long as he maintains his level of performance.

Dyer told the Western Mail โ€œRonaldo still works on things in training so nobody can say they donโ€™t need to improve, but hopefully Iโ€™ll get there

โ€œIt was all about consistency with me. I started to play well last year but faded off towards the end of the season.

โ€œThis year I wanted to make sure I put performances in both home and away.

โ€œIโ€™ve not scored as many goals as I would like to and itโ€™s frustrating at times.

โ€œBut I never let it worry me because thatโ€™s when performances start to dip and I donโ€™t want that.

โ€œThereโ€™s a lot more to come from me, improving every aspect of my game and getting more goals is one Iโ€™m working on at the moment.

โ€œWhen I can start adding that to my game Iโ€™ll be even happier but itโ€™s not just that. Itโ€™s every aspect, like working on my weaker foot and every player should be the same.

โ€œBrendan is a big help, I do extras with him after training him and coaches give us time to work on certain things.โ€
