The Cardiff City manager secured the bluebirds first win on Swansea City soil since 1997 thanks to Craig Bellamy’s late winner and he could not hide his delight after the game

He told the Western Mail โ€œCraigโ€™s been a massive signing for us as heโ€™s a Premiership player, he showed that today and in other games heโ€™s played for us,

โ€œWhen you sign good players it either brings out the quality you have in that dressing room or players donโ€™t reach that quality and fall by the wayside.

โ€œBringing in Craig gave everyone a lift and good players here enable him to be at his best.

โ€œIf we didnโ€™t have those players he wouldnโ€™t be able to perform to the best of his ability.

โ€œIt will all be about Craig over the next few days, but every player who went out and wore a blue shirt was magnificent.

โ€œIโ€™m proud of them because we did everything we asked of them and they did it quite well.

โ€œWeโ€™re looking to catch QPR and thereโ€™s a lot of football still to be played,โ€ he said.

โ€œThey had a good result the other night, but it could have gone the other way.

โ€œWe spoke about keeping our run going and this win tightens it up at the top.โ€
