Dobbie told the Evening Postย โ€œI donโ€™t want to go out on loan

โ€œI have worked all my career to get to the Premier League, so now that I am here I am not going to give it up without a fight.

โ€œI hadnโ€™t heard anything about Millwall being interested and I donโ€™t know anything about it.

โ€œBut itโ€™s nothing for me anyway. I am just working hard in training and doing my best in the reserve games to try to get back into the team.

โ€œI havenโ€™t played as much as I would have liked so far this season, especially coming off the back of a good season last year,โ€ he added.

โ€œBut the boys have been playing well, and the gaffer has brought in a couple more quality players in my position now we are in the top division.

โ€œI want to kick on, but I just have to bide my time. I need to keep working hard like I did last year and I am sure my chance will come.

โ€œOf course itโ€™s frustrating not being in the side โ€” I think any professional footballer who says anything different is probably playing the wrong game,โ€ Dobbie said. โ€œBut I was patient last season and I ended up having a great year, so thatโ€™s what Iโ€™ll try to do again. I will never think that I cannot play at this level.โ€
