Scott Sinclair was not going to shy away from his miss against Man Utd and admitted that he should have scored

Sinclair looked all set to bring the Swans back to 1-1 after a great cross from the right drew the keeper out of position and left him with an empty net to slot the ball into.

But somehow he didn’t connect and the best chance of the game for the home side went unrewarded and the points eventually lost.

Sinclair said after the gameย โ€œI didnโ€™t get contact on it and I should have scored. But Iโ€™ll definitely watch it on television.

โ€œItโ€™s one of those where you make mistakes and youโ€™ve just got to get on with it and carry on. If it was any other day I probably would have scored, but it didnโ€™t happen for me.

โ€œWe started off slow in the first half and we picked it up in the second โ€“ but it killed us going one down,โ€ confessed Sinclair.

โ€œItโ€™s good we created chances, but we didnโ€™t start as sharp as we normally do. If weโ€™d come out of the blocks a bit quicker it might have been a different game.

โ€œBut United are a good side and every single player is world class. Weโ€™ve got to take the positives because they are a world-class side.โ€
