Swansea captain Ashley Williams is ready for today’s test against Chelsea – a side he describes as the strongest in the Premier League

Williams said: โ€œTo me, Chelsea look the strongest team in the Premier League.

โ€œTheyโ€™ve got a really solid unit behind a front four that could do anything this season.

โ€œTheyโ€™ve got some skilful players with some good workers in behind them and a good defence, so we know itโ€™s a big ask.

โ€œThey are full of confidence at the moment and itโ€™s going to be a very tough game for us.

โ€œI thought we played well atย Manย City, we didnโ€™t get the result we wanted but we did take a lot of confidence from it โ€“ and weโ€™ll use that against Chelsea.

โ€œWe are at home and we are aiming to win the game, definitely.

โ€œThatโ€™s what we are all about, we conceded in the last minute against them at the Liberty last season and we want to go one better now.

โ€œTorres is a really goodย player, he scored at Stamford Bridge but we managed to shut him out at our place โ€“ and we will be looking to do the same again.

โ€œWe will just play our own game. You saw that against Luis Suarez, you just have to get close to these players and try not to give them any space and time.

โ€œIโ€™m enjoying playing next to Chico,โ€ said Williams, who struck up a formidable partnership with Steven Caulker last season during the Tottenham defenderโ€™s loan spell at the Liberty.

โ€œWe all knew it was going to take a bit of time as he was coming from Spain and had never played here before.

โ€œAs a unit, as a two, I think we are looking a lot better. We understand each other a bit more and he probably understands the English game a bit more.

โ€œHe can speak a lot more English now and we get by a lot better. Itโ€™s going well.โ€
