Davies was thrown in at the deep end earlier this season when Taylor broke his leg against Sunderland at the Liberty but has not looked back after a string of impressive displays including his Wales debut earlier on this season.

Davies is currently back with the Welsh squad knowing that Taylor is closing in on full fitness for both club and country.

โ€œBen has done well, heโ€™s only 19,โ€ said Coleman. โ€œSometimes you get opportunities, sometimes you donโ€™t take them and sometimes you grab them with both hands and thatโ€™s what Ben has done.

โ€œHeโ€™s grown in stature and confidence. Offensively heโ€™s getting better and better and heโ€™s got a great mentality and attitude to football and heโ€™s really done brilliantly.

โ€œ Neil just has to get fit and he can worry about where heโ€™s going to play after that. โ€œBen will know heโ€™s in good company when Neil gets fit, but all Neil has to focus on is getting himself ready and getting back.

โ€œIf he gets back before the end of the season then heโ€™s done well because it was a nasty injury.โ€
