Swansea City are reported, along with Cardiff City, Stoke City and Barnsley to be looking at the possibility of taking Liverpool’s Welsh international Neco Williams on loan for the new season.

Williams, who was sent off for Wales in midweek, is suggested by TeamTalk to be available for loan and the Championship quartet are said to be lined up alongside the Premier League’s Norwich and Burnley in wanting to secure his signature.

The 20-year-old played 14 times for Liverpool last season which was enough to earn his place in the squad for the European Championships.

Williams was born in Wrexham but is a product of Liverpoolโ€™s academy system, having first joined the club in 2009.

Williams penned a new long-term deal in August 2020, which will keep him at Anfield until at least the summer of 2025.
