Liam Cullen appears to be a man in demand.ย  Reports have surfaced that at least four sides are lining up a loan move for the player in January – a loan move that surely would make sense for both us and Liam.

Cullen’s chances are becoming less frequent at Swansea and for the sake of his own career he needs regular first team football if he is to develop the way we want him to.ย  With Piroe and Paterson on great form for the Swans and the likes of Obafemi waiting in the wings then a loan move would make perfect sense and give Cullen the chance to get some valuable game time under his belt.

Football Insider reported that four teams – MK Dons (Russell Martin’s former club), Lincoln City, Cheltenham and Fleetwood are all considering a loan move for Cullen in the January window when it opens.

Cullen enjoyed a run of four starts in five at the beginning of this season but has failed to feature from the bench in the last three league games.

Manager Russell Martin has preferred in-form summer signing Joel Piroe to the Swans academy graduate in recent weeks.
