The World Cup draw has given Wales a real chance of World Cup qualification with a semi final against Austria and – if successful – a home tie in the final against either Scotland or Ukraine who will meet at Hampden Park.

The draw this afternoon threw out some interesting possibilities -one of them being the potential of Wales v Scotland and the other being a single game shoot out between Portugal and Italy, at least one of whom will miss out on the World Cup final stages.

Robert Page: “We’ve given ourselves a great opportunity.

“We’ve worked ever so hard to finish second and get that home draw.

“We’ve got everything to play for.”
