The Swans will close off the 2021/22 league season tomorrow when they entertain QPR at the Swansea.com stadium looking to sign off with a win after the disappointment of no win in five games.

It may be just the one defeat in 10 but last week’s defeat at Nottingham Forest took us to that statistic of one win in five in a period where we have also given up a three goal lead on two separate occasions.

Saturday’s game will be the 53rd meeting between the two sides with QPR holding the advantage with 21 wins to 16.

Goals have not been high on the agenda in recent meetings between the two sides with just three goals in the last four meetingsย  and QPR have only won once in their last ten visits to Swansea – a run stretching back to 1981. Only downside was that win came in the reverse fixture last season.

QPR famously provided the opposition for the Swans in Michael Laudrup’s first league game in charge where a Michu inspired Swansea ran out 5-0 winners.
