The name of Tochi Chukwuani may not be the one that is highest on the list of Swans’ fans knowledge but it maybe someone who takes some research for many this afternoon after the Swans were one of a host of clubs interested in the player.
Reports from Denmark suggested that Brรธndby, FC Midtjylland and Cardiff were also interested in the 20 year old who has represented Denmark at all levels from Under-16 to Under-21.
Currently at Lyngby Boldklub, the account ‘Danish Scout’ย this could be “the most interesting transfer saga on deadline day”
Back in 2022 it was reported that he had signed for Verona but was then claimed that he had failed his medical with the Italian club due to a heart defect that was detected at the medical and due to strict Italian rules the transfer could not be completed.
Wikipedia then says that he signed with Lyngby Boldklub in August of that year, making his debut at home to Rangers in the September.ย ย He scored his first goal in May last year in a 2-1 win over Midtjyllnd.
