Huws has been banned for competitive football for 12 months as the two sides argue over the compensation that the Swans are due

And FAW development director Osian Roberts has urged both sides to come to an agreement with the player being the most important factor in the whole discussion

Roberts told the Western Mail โ€œThe shame for me is that officially he hasnโ€™t played since last Christmas and that canโ€™t be good for his development

โ€œThat is my only concern because for all the rights and wrongs of the situation, there is a 15-year-old lad in the middle of it.

โ€œI only hope his progression hasnโ€™t been affected by all this.

โ€œHopefully the both clubs can come to an agreement and it can all be put to bed.

โ€œYou can see why they are standing their ground because they have invested in young players,โ€ he said.

โ€œThey will want to be rewarded if they are going to lose them.

โ€œYou are not going to stop bigger clubs attracting the best players, but the clubs who invest in these boys should be compensated at the appropriate level.

โ€œIt would be the same if Swansea were to take a player off a club like Carmarthen in the Welsh Premier.

โ€œIt works both ways.

โ€œBut as always the most important thing in these situations has to be the player.โ€
