Swansea City’s bargain buy of the summer netted twice within five minutes against Crystal Palace on Saturday taking his tally of goals for the season to 16.

And his next landmark is twenty goals although you have to suspect he would like to get beyond that figure with the Swans pushing for promotion to the Premier League.

Speaking to the Western Mail Scott said โ€œIโ€™m not far away (from 20 goals) now, if I can keep playing well then hopefully I will reach it

โ€œIโ€™ve still got a lot to give. Iโ€™m happy with my goals but it comes from playing in a great team.

โ€œThey are supplying me with the chances to score the goals and if I can keep working hard then hopefully I can keep scoring goals and the team can move up the table.

โ€œItโ€™s the first time Iโ€™ve ever had two penalties in five minutes and Iโ€™m pleased they went in,โ€ admitted Bath-born Sinclair.

โ€œIf Iโ€™m taking the penalties then Iโ€™ve got to be very confident.

โ€œIt was tight in the first half but thatโ€™s where Iโ€™ve got to come up with different game plans.

โ€œWe put together a nice one-two and then led to the opening goal for Prats.

โ€œSometimes youโ€™ve got to change your normal performance to come up with different things so itโ€™s not easy for them.

โ€œIโ€™ll keep working hard to try and get a few more goals.โ€
