The Swansea City wideman believes that – despite the 1-0 defeat to Cardiff City on Sunday – the Swans can bounce back and push on for automatic promotion this season.

Speaking to the Western Mail, Sinclair said โ€œThe squad is down but we can only move on from it

โ€œWe canโ€™t do anything about the Cardiff defeat now, the game is done.

โ€œWeโ€™ve got Middlesbrough away to look ahead to and we have to concentrate on that.

โ€œWeโ€™ve bounced back a lot of times already this season I donโ€™t think confidence will be an issue.

โ€œWeโ€™ve just got to get on with it.

โ€œSometimes in a season there are going to be disappointments along the way, so we will take it on board and try and turn it around.

โ€œThe best thing now is that we bounce back and donโ€™t get too disheartened by the one result.

โ€œIt was very disappointing,โ€ he added.

โ€œI thought we dominated the game in the second half but then conceded the late goal.

โ€œI had a lot of space on the left flank and kept running at the full-back. I managed to create quite a few chances.

โ€œAs long as we are creating the chances thatโ€™s the main thing.โ€
