Jan Molby admits he is delighted to see the Swans back in the big time
The former Liverpool legend and one time Swansea City manager will see two of his former clubs lock horns this afternoon with three Premier League points at stake.
Molby saidย โI know itโs a city famous for its passion for rugby, but thereโs also great passion for football.
โThe key was always going to be leaving the Vetch Field and theyโve now got a fantastic new home.
โI had a great time there and Iโm really pleased to see them back in the top flight. They play a brand of football I enjoy and itโs great they have stuck to their principles.
โI feared for them quite a bit trying to play that way, but their home form has been excellent.
โThey keep the ball really well and have some real talent in players like Scott Sinclair and Danny Graham.
โTheyโve certainly made a decent start, but tomorrowโs clash at Anfield is a game Liverpool simply have to win.
โWeโve had problems against newly-promoted teams.
โNorwich made it difficult for us recently and Swansea will do the same.
โThere will be frustrating periods when Swansea keep possession and we will need to be patient.
โWhen we get the ball we need to make the most of it.
โThey will leave gaps and we have to ensure we make our extra quality count.โ
