Michel Vorm clearly did not want his individual performance to take anything away from a brilliant Swans team performance

โ€œMy brother sent me a text after the game. He hadnโ€™t seen the match but heard about it and he said weโ€™d won a point because Iโ€™d played well.” Vorm said after the game

โ€œBut I said โ€˜thatโ€™s not trueโ€™ we played well as a team and I think every player did very well.

โ€œI think if people talk about my game it makes it look as if Liverpool were always on top.

โ€œOf course, when youโ€™re a goalkeeper and you make some saves it can look good for you โ€“ but we won the point as a team and we deserved it.

โ€œOK, they hit the crossbar early on and they had some chances at the end.

โ€œBut we played our usual game and there was a lot of the game where Liverpool just couldnโ€™t get the ball.

โ€œWe were not afraid of coming here and playing as we did.

โ€œFor many it was the first time at Anfield, but Iโ€™d played here before, in the Europa League for Utrecht, when we also drew and I kept a clean sheet.

โ€œIt was a good opportunity for us to let everyone know that Swansea City can play good football.

โ€œAs everyone knows, weโ€™ve had some difficult games away from home and weโ€™ve drawn at Anfield, so thatโ€™s positive.

โ€œAnd, if we carry on playing like this, I think we can win a lot of matches this season.โ€
