Ashley Williams insists that the Swans feet are firmly on the ground after their weekend performance at Anfield

Praised was laid heavily on the Swans after the way they took the game to their more illustrious opponents on Saturday and left with a more than credible point for their efforts.

But Williams insists that is not going to their heads as they head off into a two week international break that will end with the visit of Man Utd to the Liberty on 19 November.

Williams saidย โ€œWe try to keep the highs and lows of winning and losing as close as we can, so we donโ€™t get too over the top with a performance

โ€œWe were happy after Liverpool but we werenโ€™t going over the top.

โ€œYes, we got a point but we are in the same league as them now.

โ€œWe said well done, we got the point, we are happy but we move on.

โ€œWe will look ahead to Manchester United and try and get something from that.

The gaffer said the week before the Liverpool game we are Premier League players now and we have to believe it.

โ€œForget where weโ€™ve all come from, the lower leagues and all that, we are here now and we deserve to be here.

โ€œSome of the stats coming out of the games show we are good players at this level.

โ€œIf we can get a draw at Liverpool we can get points on the road anywhere and itโ€™s always important to have a good performance before the international break.

โ€œWe were happy with how things went against Liverpool because they have got a lot of quality

โ€œI had played against Andy Carroll before and heโ€™s improved since his time at Newcastle.

โ€œLuis Suarez is a player with a lot of quality and we were very proud of the clean sheet.

โ€œThe gafferโ€™s reinforcing all the time how well we are doing so we feel full of confidence.โ€
