Jay Fulton found himself on the bench again for the Swans yesterday afternoon although he ended up as an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield, a draw that drew plenty of positives for the Swans and the fans alike.

After his FA Cup appearance last weekend, Fulton was again called upon due to the number of injuries and Covid absences within the squad but still seems set for an exit from the Swansea.com Stadium this summer.

Links have already been placed with the likes of Nottingham Forest and Aberdeen but today’s newspapers report that Barnsley and Blackpool would be keen to take the midfielder on loan although the Swans preference is to sell the player and bring in some level of transfer fee to support Russell Martin’s player requirements.

The Sun reports that Blackpool may push harder this week if they fail to land Cameron Brannagan from Oxford whilst Barnsley are in strong need of new players as they fight against relegation from the Championship less than twelve months after they were beaten play-off semi finalists.

Fulton has been pretty much out of favour at the Swans since September when he last appeared in the league and there have been numerous reports of him leaving this month.
