Swansea City take on play-off chasing Middlesbrough at the Swansea.com Stadium today with their own hopes of a top six finish virtually diminished despite a seven match unbeaten run.

The Swans may look to add a sprinkling of youth into today’s team with the likes of Cameron Congreve and Kyle Joseph pushing for a start.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Swans coach Matt Gill

โ€œWeโ€™re trying to finish as high as we can but I think a top-half finish would show a lot of progression and positivity heading into next season.

“Weโ€™re second in the form table, weโ€™ve scored 15 goals in these seven games, and thereโ€™s been some real progress regarding that.

“I think everyone can take loads from that and feel good about themselves.”

Boro boss Chris Wilder

โ€œAt our best, we can go and get a result at Swansea.

“And if we do get a result, then all of a sudden, the picture changes and weโ€™re going into the last three games of the season with a bit of momentum again.

“Then, anything can happen.”
