Swansea manager Kenny Jackett will try to get Lee Trundle’s red card in the 2-2 draw with Rochdale overturned. <\/p>\n

Trundle was sent off in the 36th minute for a two-footed lunge on Dale’s Jamie Clarke only to be followed 60 seconds later by the visitors’ Paul Tait after he appeared to lash out at Kevin McLeod. <\/p>\n

"I don’t believe either red card was warranted and we will certainly appeal against Lee’s dismissal," said Jackett. <\/p>\n

"I am very frustrated as we put on a winning performance but have only ended up with the one point. <\/p>\n

"We should never have been behind at the interval as they scored with their only decent shot in the half." <\/p>\n

Rochdale boss Steve Parkin was delighted his side had snatched a point thanks to Rickie Lambert’s 90th-minute effort – his fourth goal in five games since his recent switch from Stockport. <\/p>\n

Parkin said: "It always feels like a win when you get a late equaliser. <\/p>\n

"It was a great advert for League Two football with two very committed teams though I would have preferred to have seen the sides both at full strength. <\/p>\n

"Both sides had great chances to get the victory, but the keepers made some great saves and I did think our chance had gone – but my players never know when they are beaten. <\/p>\n

"We were the bookies’ favourites to go down at the start of the season, but now we are certainly looking at making the play-offs." <\/p>\n
